Volunteers are the backbone to any successful project.  The goal of the State Theatre Foundation is to create a cultural center for the community and to be recognized as a cultural leader in our region and we need your help.  Join a hands-on team and become an integral part of the renaissance of the State Theatre.

Volunteers do make a difference

Our volunteers have fun and have made so many things possible already, including:

 

• Taking photos of visitors dressed in various costumes seated in our famous directors chairs at our booths at CulpeperFest and Culpeper Days.

 

• Dressing up as Marilyn Monroe or Elvis in our float for the 4th of July Parade.

 

• Modeling our Auction Items at our very successful Irish Ceili Dance as well as decorating for the dance and joining in on the festivities.

 

• Compiling Mass Mailings for our events.

 

• Tour Guides for the 4th of July Open Houses in ’06, '07, and '08.

 

• Selling Theatre items at our various functions

 

• Staffing the office of the Executive Director and helping with various office duties.
